KS5L enjoyed canoeing for the first time this year. All students shown good listening skills and were able to follow instructions. 

They all shown good teamwork skills and supported each other when being on the water.

This afternoon,KS5L enjoyed a lovely afternoon with music and playing lots of different instruments. 

All students were able to choose the instrument they wanted to play and played along with the teacher.

KS5 visited Liverpool football stadium today to take part in mental health workshops with others schools. We had a fantastic day and met Chris Kirkland and enjoyed lots of fun activities.We made new friends and had wonderful day and won lots of Liverpool prizes.

Well done to Harrison Greenwood for getting student of the week for being kind and always helping his friends. 

Also a massive well done to KS5 for winning one of there first football tournament and working so well as a team.

Today KS5 have enjoyed replenishing the poo bag holders that they had put up last week on the local footpath. Also in the morning they got to learn how to use office equipment and a laminator to make posters to put up to remind the public to pick up dog mess.

Today KS5 took part in a football tournament at Winstanley Warriors FC. The students played extremely well and shown good teamwork and listening skills.

They played 7 games in total and won every game and got through to the semi finals against thrive and won 1-0.

VE Day 2025

As part of VE Day, we created a Spitfire plane. We had to choose our colours, cut the plane, and fold it. It was really interesting to learn all about this historic event. We worked super quietly and calmly and had a wonderful afternoon.

While the weather has been hot, we have been enjoying some water play outside. We have used fishing rods and raced boats. It was so much fun, hopefully the sun is here to stay and we can enjoy the water again next week!

This afternoon KS5L enjoyed a craft sensory lesson. We finger painted and used different textures to make patterns. We got a creative, messy and had lots of fun!

In Lunch In Unit we baked a cake. We followed instructions, measured ingredients and decorated it with icing sugar. It went down a treat!
