Students in Mrs Seery’s CLL class enjoyed a trip to Apple Cast Farm. They looked at a range of animals, fed the animals, played in the park and visited the cafe. All students demonstrated fantastic speaking and listening skills and were a credit to the school.

Monday mornings students in KS5W have worked on their fitness and health at the local community gym and pool. Students enjoy using the different types of equipment and embrace learning new fitness routines and working on their gross motor skills. 

In CLL this week students stood in front of the class to talk about their favourite movies, Students were able to confidently talk about their movies to their class. 

In Maths students used ten frames to support with their counting, students were able to add up 3, 1 digit numbers together.…

Christmas Market preparations are well under way in KS5W! We can’t wait to see all of the other creations from around the department come together too. The Christmas markets are a school and family favourite!

KS5W have had a super week centred around the theme of bonfire night. At one vision students designed their own rockets and had an afternoon of fun watching them launch high into the sky!

KS4L had the best time taking part in the Panathlon Tenpin Bowling competition.

They were so amazing they even made it into the championships!

Students from KS3C and KS3W enjoyed a visit from Jam the dinosaur. Our students learnt facts about dinosaurs like what they eat, how they move and what noises they made. Some students got up and fed Jam and even played tricks on him. It was a brilliant day for all students and staff.

KS3S enjoyed taking part in STEM day where they met Jam the T-Rex! Students enjoyed feeding the dinosaur, stroking him, kissing him, chasing him and getting tickles off him! 
 

Students from KS3C have been busy getting ready for our Christmas market. They have been designing and painting items ready to sell.
