Dear Parents/Carers,
As we break for the Easter holidays, we would like to say thank you to what started as an uncertain start
to a new term to what has ended as a very successful term through the continued hard work, dedication
and commitment of our students, families and school staff . I would like to say how much the school has
appreciated the overwhelming support of the community this term. It has definitely helped us through
some very challenging times. We have witnessed some fantastic achievements, and these truly have
been worth celebrating and we hope the summer term gives more opportunities to celebrate
achievement and success.
As we start the Easter holidays we would like to remind you that for the first 4 days after school closes
(up to and including Tuesday 30th March) if a member of staff or student test positive for COVID, having
developed symptoms within 48 hours of last being in school, you must contact me via email
covidresult@westlancs.lancs.sch.uk or via the school mobile on 07930873393.
We encourage students to continue self testing throughout the holiday period, however we appreciate
that you only a limited number of tests and if there have been any voids or mishaps you may not have
enough for two a week. If this is the case, please retain one test and please make sure that this
test is taken on Monday 12th April in preparation for return to school on Tuesday 13th April.
To help support families over the holiday period, all students eligible for free school meals have been
issued with a FSM voucher.
